Sphere concert travel guide

Sphere publishes rideshare at the corner of Manhattan Street and Westchester Drive, with the entrance across from that drop-off. On foot, standard admission is described as the Venetian Bridge stairway, with further doors on Westchester Drive after the security checkpoint and a Plaza Entry on the east side.

Allow extra time if roads are closed. The venue asks drivers to leave more time for street closures, and the same closures affect a rideshare queue. There is no published cloakroom if you arrive with luggage.

Use the same rideshare corner for the return, and expect staff to be directing traffic after the show. Order the car once you are at that corner rather than from your seat, so the driver is not held in a closed street.

Sphere does not store bags. Anything you cannot take inside has to be left at your hotel. If your flight home is the same night, compare the rideshare time to the airport with the bag rule before you book the flight.

Accessible entrances are the East and West entries from Sands Avenue. The Venetian pedestrian bridge is also an accessible entrance when you reach it through the Venetian Resort. Book accessible seats through Ticketmaster or Sphere Accessibility Services on 725-258-6724.

Elevators have operators. Assistive-listening devices and sensory bags are at Guest Services on levels 2 and 6, and a licence or card is held while you borrow them. Sensory rooms on those levels are open during public events, subject to availability. A free wheelchair transport can take you to your seat, but you cannot stay in that chair for the show.

On-site parking can be bought ahead. Sphere also points to Howard Hughes and other nearby garages. Overnight parking is not permitted, so a car is not a place to leave luggage after the show.

Rideshare is only described at Manhattan Street and Westchester Drive. If you are being dropped off by someone else, use that point and the entrance opposite it, and allow for the street closures the venue warns about.

Large bags and backpacks are not allowed. A small clutch, purse or fanny pack of about 6 by 6 by 2 inches can come in, as can a diaper bag or a bag required for medical items. Every bag can be searched or x-rayed.

There is no bag, coat or laptop check. Laptops, tablets and professional cameras are prohibited. Contact Guest Relations on 725-258-6724 before the event if you need an exception.

A hotel that can keep your luggage matters here, because Sphere will not check a bag. Compare a stay within a short rideshare of Sands Avenue with one that adds an airport transfer you are willing to make after the show.

On your CatchWorm event page, Venue & stays lets you explore nearby accommodation. Check late check-in and cancellation terms with the provider before booking.
