Rogers Arena concert travel guide

Take the Expo Line to Stadium–Chinatown. The station is beside the arena on Expo Boulevard; its Stadium entrance/exit faces Gate 10. Match that approach to your ticketed gate rather than following everyone to the first queue.

For a rail return, head back to Stadium–Chinatown and check your train’s destination before boarding. A downtown-bound train and an eastbound train serve very different hotel areas.

Check the last connection to your actual hotel, especially if changing to the Canada Line. Allow for the gate-to-platform walk and station queues; an arena exit time is not a train departure time. Save a taxi alternative before the show.

Contact Rogers Arena before booking if you need a wheelchair space, companion ticket, hearing support or another adjustment. Confirm the route from your station, parking space or drop-off to your ticketed area, including any lifts or stairs.

Use the venue’s current visitor information to ask about accessible entrances and assistance. A nearby station or parking space does not establish that the whole route is step-free.

Agree a permitted collection point before the show, with a backup if traffic restrictions change. Check the parking operator’s closing time, pedestrian exit and event conditions before paying.

Check the current concert page for bag restrictions, prohibited items, age rules, ticket requirements and doors time. Arrange overnight luggage storage separately; do not assume a cloakroom or bag-drop service is available. Ask the venue about medical items in advance.

A hotel around Stadium–Chinatown can remove the train journey after the show, but compare the actual entrance-to-hotel walking route rather than a map radius. Check late check-in if you are arriving on show day.

Waterfront or Burrard puts a downtown visit on an Expo Line corridor. An airport-area stay may suit an early flight, but adds a Canada Line connection after the concert. Compare that extra journey with the room saving; neither area is automatically cheaper.
