Which station should I use?
For the subway, use Atlantic Av–Barclays Ctr and follow the signs to the arena. The MTA marks that station as accessible. Fulton Street, two blocks north, and Lafayette Avenue are not accessible.
Long Island Rail Road uses Atlantic Terminal, across the street, in Zone 1. The venue says trains to and from Jamaica run about every 8 minutes in the peak and every 20 minutes off-peak. Buses B25, B26, B37, B38, B41, B45, B52, B63, B65, B67 and B103 stop nearby. Use the MTA trip planner for the line that matches your ticket.
Plan the journey home before the show
The subway station is under the building, so the queue to the platform is part of the journey home. Check the last LIRR from Atlantic Terminal separately if your connection is at Jamaica.
A Brooklyn hotel removes the late subway. A Manhattan hotel only works if the line you used to arrive is still running when you leave. Check the MTA on the day.
Check the whole accessible route
Arrive on the accessible Atlantic Av–Barclays Ctr stop, not Fulton Street or Lafayette Avenue. LIRR Atlantic Terminal is the rail alternative across the street. The arena says its entrances are ADA accessible and that re-entry is not permitted.
Read the venue’s disabled-services guide before you buy, and arrange accessible seating with the box office rather than assuming every seat on an accessible concourse is a step-free seat.
Driving, parking and pick-up
The venue asks you to use its getting-here page and the MTA trip planner rather than treating Atlantic Avenue as a place to stop. Access-A-Ride uses a stop on the south side of Atlantic Avenue, between Fort Greene Place and 6th Avenue, nearest the event-level VIP entrance.
If someone is collecting you, agree a point away from the subway exits before the encore. The station underneath will be crowded, and re-entry is not allowed if you step out to find a car.
Bags and entry checks
Any bag larger than 10 by 6 by 2 inches is refused. Guests without a bag can use the express lanes. Medical needs and guests caring for infants can be given special consideration. Bags are screened, including x-ray where it is available.
Leave luggage at your hotel. The policy is the venue’s usual rule and can still change for a particular show, so read that event’s page as well.
Where should I base an overnight stay?
A stay in Downtown Brooklyn keeps the walk to Atlantic Avenue. Compare a Manhattan hotel against the last subway or LIRR you are actually willing to make, not against the afternoon timetable.
On your CatchWorm event page, Venue & stays lets you explore nearby accommodation. Check late check-in and cancellation terms with the provider before booking.
