Utilita Arena Cardiff concert travel guide

Cardiff Central serves longer-distance mainline journeys. Cardiff Queen Street is another option for local and Valleys connections; compare your actual service before choosing an arrival station.

For local buses, check Cardiff Bus and the city-centre interchange. Coach stops may be elsewhere in the city, so include the final leg to Mary Ann Street in your plan.

Check the last train from the station your return service uses, not simply the closest station to the arena. Allow time for the crowd to leave and for the walk back.

Recheck weekend engineering work and your onward connections. A nearby overnight stay can be worth comparing if the last train is close to the expected finish.

Live Access tickets and companion spaces need arranging in advance and can sell out. General-admission standing does not provide a seat, and standard tiered seats require stairs.

Ask the access team about the correct ticket, entrance and any equipment you need to bring. Check station assistance and the full route from Central or Queen Street separately.

• Cardiff arena accessibility and Live Access

The arena does not have audience parking on site. Compare nearby public car parks, including their hours, height restrictions and the route to Mary Ann Street.

The venue lists taxi ranks on Tredegar Street and Churchill Way. Arrange a meeting point in advance and ask about accessible taxis before the day if needed.

If you bring a bag, the limit is one per person, up to 29 × 21 × 15cm. Larger bags cannot be stored in the venue’s cloakroom.

Leave overnight luggage elsewhere. Contact the access team in advance about medical equipment, medicines or food needed for a medical condition, and check the latest entry rules.
